Tips on website hosting
Hosting your website means, loosely translated, where you will store the files that make up your site so that others on the Internet can have access to them.
Sorry if that’s over-simplistic for some people, but when I first started out on-line I had no idea what hosting was but everyone assumed I knew!
Deciding where to host your website and/or blog is not a decision to be made lightly. Unfortunately I DID make it lightly, because I didn’t understand all the implications. Hopefully reading this wil help you avoid the mistakes I made.

Oh dear. Last week’s post found me frustrated because I had to take a side-ways stop and remove Jetpack, then find a a different way to subscribe to my blog. This I thought I had managed to do, but “things” fell apart and Google decided my PC had been attacked by malware and gremlins. 


Faced with a choice, I was never quite sure which was the best SEO plugin to use for my blog, so I picked one, more or less at random, just to get something going. Today I discovered one that seems far better than any I’ve used before.
