I knew people could earn well from TikTok, but I needed to know if I could make money on TikTok without being on camera. Updated 2026.
And my enthusiasm to find out more about this was re-kindled when I heard this industry news.
TikTok Tests Product Links from Major Affiliates
TikTok is testing a new integration that allows creators to add third-party affiliate product links directly to their posts, including links from Amazon, Clickbank, Walmart, Target, Rakuten, and others.
While TikTok has not officially announced the feature, creators who were invited to participate shared it on social media, and marketing consultants have discussed it on LinkedIn.
The integration, which is in a limited test phase, lets creators link shopping products directly in the comment section, reducing the number of steps required for viewers to make a purchase. This shift marks a significant change from the previous reliance on link-in-bio tools like Linktree.
TikTok is positioning itself as a major player in social commerce, aiming to boost e-commerce sales through TikTok Shop, which launched in September 2023. The new affiliate links simplify the shopping experience, potentially increasing sales for brands while driving more traffic to their websites.

Marketing expert Georgina Whalen, who was invited to participate, noted that the integration could significantly improve conversion rates by streamlining the purchasing process for viewers.
Sounds good – but could I make this work for me?
My Own Experience with TikTok
I was using a particular set of training, and very happy with it until we got to the part that we were supposed to make posts on TikTok – preferably live.
Well – I was just dire, and despite being told “You will soon get used to it, and be really good at it – because you are authentic” (which I took to mean I looked dreadful) I just couldn’t get into it. Every time I had to go live I felt sick, and looked sick. In the end I decided that TikTok was for other people – and move back to my blogging and email marketing, much more to my taste.
However, I realised that TikTok was a source of traffic that other people seemed to be successful with.
So I kept my eyes open for anything that might help me, and sure enough I found a solution in a program called Faceless Flipping.
Update 2026: Sadly the creators of Faceless Flipping couldn’t keep up with their promises, and fled leaving affiliates high and dry.
Instead I am turning my efforts onto a program creator I have worked with for 3 years, who is completely trustworthy, and he has fust brought out version 3 of his program that lets you earn money on Pinterest – again with Faceless videos.

Nevertheless the ways to make money on TikTok still apply.
