I’ve seen a few recent blog posts about backing up your blog, but I’d just like to take a few minutes to remind people about a further service – backing up your hosting account – that I didn’t spot until I really needed it.
My story was depressing enough, and would have been far worse without this.

I have been pruning domains and hosting today. I had several old projects that never really got off the ground. With hindsight I spread myself far too thinly instead of focusing more. But I get bored easily and enjoyed creating new and pretty blogs 🙂
Faced with a choice, I was never quite sure which was the best SEO plugin to use for my blog, so I picked one, more or less at random, just to get something going. Today I discovered one that seems far better than any I’ve used before.
In case you’re wondering what this dog has to do with my Internet business, apart from the fact that he’s snow-logged, like me, he’s just here because I like him (and dogs in general).
OK, that much snow is a bit of an exaggeration, but I’m fairly snowed in at the moment, which has given me plenty of time to catch up on some of my work from paying clients plus time to reflect on ways of building up my Internet business.
